Ronda Rousey Reacts to Being Inducted into UFC Hall of Fame

Ronda Rousey thanked everyone who supported her during her MMA career after becoming the first woman to be inducted into the UFC Hall of Fame three days ago.

Rousey enjoyed a brilliant career in the Octagon before moving to WWE in January as she became the first ever UFC Women’s Bantamweight Champion.

After the ceremony the UFC legend took to Instagram where she said she had so many more people she wanted to thank and stated how grateful she is that they let “the adventures of this Venetian judoka with a bad reputation change the world”.

The Baddest Woman on the Planet wrote: “I had so many more to thank than I could have used the time I had the stage for. Everyone I know personally, I can thank in person ... last night was for YOU. Thank YOU for watching and letting the adventures of this Venetian judoka with a bad reputation change the world.”

Rousey was the first female fighter signed to UFC and held the UFC Women’s Bantamweight Championship from 2012 until 2015 when she lost it to Holly Holm.

‘Rowdy’ accepted the incredible honour and hopes to be the first of many women to be joining the UFC Hall of Fame.

She said: “Because of you, I am the first woman standing up here accepting this incredible honour. May I be the first of many.

“Together we have redefined what it means to be strong, to be sexy. We have changed what it means to fight like a girl.
